Green Documents
Coming Soon! – The MLS will soon be adding three new documents to “documents on file”. They are Green Building Certified, Energy Efficiency Certified, and Green Disclosure Statement. These forms will be available in flexMLS by clicking on the “Forms” tab. You will be able to add (upload) these documents to your listing the same way you now add other documents such as the “Lead Paint Disclosure” and “Seller Condition Report”.
WIREX Welcomes Northwestern Wisconsin MLS
WIREX was launched on January 20, 2009 with data from the South Central and Northeast MLSs integrated into flexMLS, In December the MLS welcomed the Central WI MLS to WIREX. Central WI includes Marathon, Portage and Wood counties (Wisconsin Rapids, Wausau and Stevens Point). In June the MLS will welcome the Northwest MLS (Eau Claire county north to Sawyer county). Rule About Photos
MLS Rules regarding photos were changed last July. You have seven days (excluding Sundays) to submit a photo to the MLS for all residential listings (single family, two family, multi family up to 4 units and condominiums). This includes “one party” and “For Sale By Owner” (The property was not listed in MLS but was sold by a MLS broker) listings. If after seven days there is no photo in the flexMLS system the MLS will issue a $10 sanction and will continue to issue a $10 sanction each month until a photo is received. The MLS will no longer automatically have the photographer take the photo. If you would like to have the MLS photographer take the photo please email (photos@metromls.com) or call the MLS to make your request.
The Last MLS ‘FYI’
In an effort to cut back on costs and become greener, this will be the last FYI to be mailed out with invoices. The MLS will continue to send out the FYI but will send them out via email. To ensure that you will continue to receive the FYI, be sure you email address is up-to-date in flexMLS.
