More Information on the Listing Reports
You have requested that more information be included on the Listing Reports. Here are some of the changes. All the Listing Reports in FlexMLS have been updated and now include additional agent contact information. The private version of all reports, with the exception of the Quick 4 Report, features the listing agent’s fax number, cell phone number, web address, and any additional address information.
This is a great opportunity to review your profile information to ensure that additional contact information is available on the Listing Reports. To do this, go to the main MLS menu and click on Preferences and then click on My Profile. Check to be certain that all information is correct. Begin with Quick Profile Maintenance, and then go through your phone and fax numbers, web, office, e-mail, and other addresses. Make sure the information is current and up-to-date!
While you're in this part of the program, see if you're satisfied with your personal photo, since it now appears along with your contact information on the Full Report Add'l Photos and Branding in e-mails sent to your Contacts!
Short Sales, Foreclosures & REO
We have received several requests for the identification of short sales, pre– or foreclosure sales or sales that involve REO listings. There are no clear guidelines for marking these types of properties – on the part of the agent, by the staff that enters listings and perhaps even on the part of the seller – to disclose these issues consistently and with proper authorization.
The MLS is working on modifications to the system to include a searchable field for bank-owned and REO properties. In the meantime, we suggest that you enter in the “Private Remarks” those comments you consider appropriate notification to cooperating brokers of conditions on the sale. “Private Remarks” can be searched for specific words or phrases that are contained in the remarks. You may also enter “bank owned” in the owners name field. All cooperating brokers are strongly encouraged to review the “Private Remarks” for this and other information regarding the listing and any terms on the sale.
