My Profile   

When listings are entered into flexMLS, fields such as agent name, phone number(s), etc. are pulled from the listing agent’s profile in flexMLS. You CAN and SHOULD keep your user information up-to-date so that when members search the database they will have your correct contact and business information.  This would include phone numbers (and type of phone – cell, home, office, fax), email and web addresses, mailing addresses as well as, your photo and your company logo if you choose. 

To update your profile go to Preferences on the menu and then click on My Profile.  From there you can make the appropriate changes including adding designations and your ‘Marketing Name’.

The ‘Marketing Name’ was designed for use by teams who want their “team” name to show up on listing reports.  The Marketing Name was not designed for self promotion (Jane Doe, #1 seller in the entire state).  Inappropriate use of ‘Marketing Names’ will be removed from the system.

Reminder - Submitting Listings

The MLS receives about 100 listings per day in the mail.  Many of them are incomplete.  Remember - after a listing has been entered into the computer system you are required to submit, VIA MAIL or drop off, to the MLS, the following information: DO NOT FAX.

1.   A copy of the listing contract, dated and signed by the seller(s) and listing broker – front and back page only and any appropriate addendums.
2.   A computer printout, if listing is entered by the broker.
3.   A photograph of the property if applicable (MLS Rules Section1.2).   It is your responsibility to check listings for accuracy.  If the MLS adds the photo, we will only add one photo.  If you add the photo, you can enter up to twenty-five (25) photos.

If the Broker member enters their own property (broker owned) into the MLS you are required to submit a computer printout and a photo.
