Listing Photo Information

How long do I have to submit a photo for my listing?

The MLS requires a photo for all residential listings (excluding new construction). You have seven (7) days to submit a photo from the listing contract date. If after seven days there is still no photo for a property the MLS will set up the photo and the office will be charged the current fee (MLS Rules Section 1.2). The only exception to the rule is for properties that are under construction.

Will MLS upload all of my photos for my listing?

The MLS will only upload the main listing photo for a listing. You however, can add up to 25 photos per listing. If you would like for the MLS to upload the main listing photo send the photo to photos@metromls.com, put the MLS # in the subject line and include the description for the photo. Photos received by the MLS by 3:00 pm are generally processed the same day and will appear in the FlexMLS system and on wihomes.com the following morning. It is however the member’s responsibility to check their listing for accuracy, including photos.

If I have a question about a photo I am having the MLS upload who do I contact?

For questions about photos submitted to the MLS, contact Nydia in the Administration dept. or e-mail photos@metromls.com

I uploaded 10 photos to my listing, but when I go to our company’s website I only see the main photo and 5 of the additional photos, why?

Currently the MLS provides the primary plus five additional photos to broker’s web sites through the IDX program.

Why aren’t my additional photos on Realtor.com or wihomes.com?

Currently the MLS provides only the primary photo to Realtor.com and wihomes.com.

Can I submit renderings\drawings for new construction or vacant land listings as a photo?
