How to Remove a Contact From Contact Management

There are a few different ways to remove a contact from contact management.

If you wish to remove the contact completely from Contact Management including their search and auto e-mail do the following.

  1. Click on the Contact’s name in your Contact Display List.
  2. Go to the bottom of the screen and click Remove.
  3. In the pop up window Select All and then Remove.

The contact and all of their information has now been removed from FlexMLS and cannot be retrieved.

The next method will allow you to keep their search or remove only specific elements of your contact.

  1. Click on Contacts in the FlexMLS menu.
  2. Click on Contact Management.
  3. Select the contact you want to remove in the Display Name section.
  4. Click on the contacts Searches/Subscriptions tab.
  5. Click on the Red X to the right of the event in the Subscription section if there is one.
  6. Click Ok in the pop up box asking you if you are sure you want to do this.
  7. Click on the Remove link at the bottom of the Searches box if there is one.
  8. Do one of the following, click Contact Only if you want to keep this search for future use. (This will store the search in the Saved Searches section of the search menu.) Choose Remove Search Entirely if you no longer want this search.If you have more than one search and auto e-mail for a contact repeat steps 5 -8. If you do not have an additional searches and auto e-mail events, go on to step 9.
  9. Now click on the first tab that has the contact’s name on it.
  10. Click Remove Contact at the bottom of the screen
  11. Click Ok in the pop up box asking you if you are sure you want to do this.

NOTE:
Once you delete a Contact from the FlexMLS system there is no way to restore them, they are permanently deleted unless if you re-add them.
